Have you ever wondered how all the field trips your children participate in are funded? Or why Council fundraises? It is done in support of continuing education on giftedness for parents and staff, author visits and guest speakers, fun school-wide events and more.
By participating in Council sponsored initiatives like the ones below, you can help us!
To donate to Westmount Charter School Council, print and fill out the donation form below, and return it to the main office at either campus.

Several times per year we hold bottle drives at the school. Bottle drives normally generate over $7,500 for the school each year.
On designated bottle drive dates, bottles may be dropped off before school (8-8:45 am) or in the afternoon from 3:00 to 3:45 pm in the church parking lot beside the Mid-High campus or at the corner of 5 Ave. NW and 32 St. NW at the Elementary Campus. If you are unable to bring your refundables to the school, you may arrange for Skip the Depot to pick them up at your home at a time that is convenient for you. In addition to refundables, Skip the Depot accepts donations of some clothing and electronics. Instructions on how to set up your Skip the Depot pickup may be found here. Every Calgary Stampeders home game, the parking lot at the mid-high campus is used for Stampeders fan parking. We need only a few volunteers each game, and each game raises about $1,000 for the school.
Anytime during the year, you can order magazines through QSP using Group ID 3735503 and the school will receive a percentage of your subscription fee. QSP also has a number of other items, including gift wrapping and other holiday items. You can see the entire selection at http://www.qsp.ca
In coordination with the Westmount School Parent Fundraising Society, once per year there is often a charity raffle, and approximately once every two years we raise money by volunteering at a casino.
Some groups within Westmount Charter School will engage in other fundraising activities throughout the year for specific projects or programs. Check the latest school news for information on any of these initiatives.
